Details of the Junior coaching programme and tennis camps may be found by going to the coaching page. The main tournament for juniors each summmer is the Junior Open Tournament. You can navigate to them using the buttons on the left.
In 2010 Abingdon LTC are fielding twelve teams in the OLTA Summer League, two National Club League teams, an Oxfordshire Midweek League teamand friendly teams. The list of Captains may be found on the Summer 2010 Team Captains web page. OLTA matches are played on Saturdays and Sundays, and friendly matches are mainly played on Wednesday evenings
Abingdon had 5 mens and 4 ladies teams in the Winter 2009-10 Thames Valley Winter Tennis League. The TVWTL results tables may be found going to the League Matches page or to the TVWTL web site http://www.thamesvalleywtl.net.
If you wish to play in one of the teams then please contact the Match Secretary or one of the team captains to let him or her know that you are available.
Every Monday evening ladies team players have match practice from 6.30 to 8.15pm, and the mens team players have match practice from 8.15 to 10pm. Mixed team practice is on Wednesday evening.
The Club Tournament is held every summer for members of the club. There are singles competitions for mens, under 21 mens and ladies, and doubles competitions for men, ladies and mixed pairs. There is also a mixed doubles handicap handicap competition. Finals Day for this competition is Saturday September 11th
Sign-up lists for Club Tournament will be posted up in the clubhouse after Easter and reminders will be emailed to members.
The Preston Bowl competition is an Open Tournament for mixed pairs. This year it will be played on the final Saturday of the Junior Open week,
The Abingdon Open competition is a Grade 4 LTA Tournament for Juniors. It will be held this year 9-14 August. For information on the Open and background information, go the Open web pages. Tournament details are also available on the LTA website. Go to the LTA "Play and Compete" page http://www.lta.org.uk/PlayAndCompete and enter OXF101 or Abingdon in the Tournament search box.
Club nights are on Tuesdays and (in summer) Thursdays. All members are welcome. Just turn up and play. The more people who come, the more fun is had by all.

Every Wednesday evening during winter six teams of four (2 men, 2 ladies) play a set of mens, ladies and mixed doubles. The sign-up sheet for the 2010-11 winter session will be posted in the clubhouse in September.
The courts are there for members to use whenever they are
free (floodlights are available until 10pm). There is plenty of
court time available in the daytime during the week, but in the
evenings and at weekends, a balance has to be struck between
competing demands and available resources. The table below shows
the allocation plan for Summer 2010 for times when organised
tennis (for example, matches or coaching) take precedence over
casual usage.
